“The Meltdown” SYNOPSIS:
In 1989 a massacre happened in the Amazon Jungle. A documentary film crew was slaughtered by an uncontacted and savage, warrior tribe. However, their tour guides, brothers Levi and Terry (formerly of the popular 80's band "Brothers from a Different Mother") survived the massacre.
Fast forward 10 years. Business is slow for a small Las Vegas casino. They are having problems attracting customers and competing with the new mega resorts. Tiffany, the owner's granddaughter and marketing manager of the casino, was given an unusual gift by a local patron. The gift was the documentary footage from 1989. The film reveals not only the slaughter but the the Indian Warriors were protecting the mythical gold of El Dorado. Legend has it that gold protected by these Warriors could unlock the secrets to eternal life.
Tiffany devises a plan to go to the Amazon, find the brothers, and get photos of the gold for a one of a kind exhibit that could save the casino. Unbeknownst to her, her grandfather finds out and devises his own plan. He sends his own hired mercenaries to follow his granddaughter, steal the gold, and then melt it down.
