Site-specific sound performance
2020, long-duration
Excerpts from performance at Festival Rümlingen
Is it only its exquisite tonal qualities that made the cactus the most popular plant in experimental music? This site-specific sound performance was created for the anniversary of the Festival Rümlingen and celebrates the genre of cactus music under the impression of the Anthropocene. In the middle of an industrial zone of a small swiss town, composer-performer Leo Hofmann transforms himself into a succulent and conjures for hot weather.
