On August 12 The University of Western Australia held it's annual Open Day where the public and prospective students are invited along to see what studying at UWA is like and what courses are on offer. The International Centre for Radio Astronomy Research (ICRAR) set up its exhibition/information stand on the ground floor of the physics building. This video piece shows timelapse footage of three periods during the day with each captured using different exposure and intervals.
While putting this video together I saw that once in a while someone would notice the camera and either stare straight at the lens or pose long enough for their image to be caught with clarity while all around them remained a blur. I paused the video at these times to emphasise these people and sort of make them the characters in this video.
The music is by Moby who has made available a good number of tracks for independent and non-profit filmmakers, film students, and anyone in need of free music for their independent, non-profit film, video, or short. Thanks to Moby for doing this and mobygratis.com for providing permission for this awesome track ("Wait for me") to be used for this piece.
