On March 20th 2012, Thayne Rich, Willie Nelson, and myself (Noah Wetzel) were shooting with Professional Photographer Kevin Winzeler. The previous storms had left us with 40" + of Utah Pow to shred and hopefully capture some gold! After shooting a lap in Keyhole we ventured out to Rocky Point around 1pm. Unfortunately alot of the area was already tracked out (go figure), but most importantly the snow appeared as if it was "setting up." We spotted someone below A-Frame and he advised us to reconsider, as the snow was getting firm. Well that wasn't what we wanted to hear! Thankfully Willie stepped up to the plate and sent a huge 50ft Truckdriver backflip to get the first one out of the way! I headed over to B-frame because the landing looked a bit more fresh and sent a medium sized backy....afterwards realizing it was very soft in that area. I yelled up to Kevin, and asked if I could quick hike up again to get redemption on my backflip. He agreed and I quickly hiked back up and proceeded to send B-frame one more time with HEAT!!...it certainly felt nearly twice as big as the first one and skied out clean! Nothing like a bit of adrenaline to make you feel alive!
