In Mexico, the environmental health team has been distributing clean water filters and working with families regarding their maintenance and cleaning. The filters chosen for this project have the longest sustainability of a filter created using local and affordable materials. An important component of this work is creating educational content that is open source and able to be adapted in different languages, interpretations for various communities. The team created these training videos on filter cleaning and maintenance, which can be easily shared by phone. Here is one video in Spanish.
