SHORT FILM SYNOPSIS:
This film is a series of 6 video vignettes inspired by “The Lady and the Unicorn” tapestries at musée de Cluny in Paris, depicting the five senses and an obscure sixth sense. The series is titled “A Mon Seul Désir”, after the mystical sixth tapestry.
SHORT DIRECTOR BIO:
Photography duo ioulex is Julia Koteliansky and Alexander Kerr, originally from Moscow and Boston. They met at Parsons School of Design in Paris. Their editorial work and videos appeared in the New York Times, Big, Dossier journal, Die Zeit and other international publications. Ioulex’s work was exhibited at AVA gallery in New York, Colette in Paris, Diesel Gallery in Tokyo, De Brakke Grond in Amsterdam. Multidisciplinary design studio Mogollon was founded in 2004 by Francisco Lopez and Monica Brand. Raised in Caracas, Francisco and Monica graduated from The School of the Museum for Fine Arts in Boston and Massachusetts College of Art. Mogollon’s work has been featured in books and magazines such as GRAFIK, +81, Creative Review, Communication Arts, Dazed, Tactile and NeoGeo by Gestalten; their work was exhibited at MAD Museum in New York and at the Diesel Denim Gallery in Tokyo.
