+1's were going for $250 outside the Orange Peel. Surprise guest, Biz Markie opened up with a 30 minute DJ set that included a lot of classic hip-hop and finished up with "You Got What I Need" which was so much fun. There was a short break and then he introduced the B. Boys with "The Biz Vs. The Nuge" from the Check Your Head record. "The Beatsie Boooooooooys, they are they comin' home, the comin' home, oh they comin home." The Beastie's played a super hype show that included a lot of their full band (w/ Keyboard Money Mark and Alfredo Ortiz) material with instruments, a lot of classic stuff, and a couple brand new songs. Biz came out later in the show for "B... B... B... Benny & The Jets" where he took his shirt off durring the song to expose one of the biggest belly button holes I've ever seen. That Fabolous "Breathe" sample durring "So What'cha Want" that they do live is SO ILL, and they also added a sample of Nas' "Made You Look" for the last verse. HYPE!
