LISA SINAN MROZINSKI
Ein Fenster blinzelt lustlos. Ein Gummibaum spricht: ‚Mord!’
Lisa Sinan’s installation „Ein Fenster blinzelt lustlos, ein Gummibaum spricht Mord!“ (“A window twinkles listless, a gumtree says murder!“) was created in the Weserburg museum itself. The installation interacts with the museum’s architecture and addresses the difficult situation that exhibitions and their makers find themselves in during the pandemic.
The title of her work relates to an abstract of the song „Guten Tag mein Zuhause“ (“Hello home“) by Hildegard Knef. In this song, Knef sings about her half-abandoned house. Just like in the lyrics of the song, Lisa Sinan is presenting an installation that seems to be abandoned and is just waiting to be seen.
