If a picture is worth a thousand words, then I’d venture to guess that a video is worth a million. I hope this will say everything I’m not able to, and will help you to understand what it is we are trying to do. My dear friend and colleague, Jimmy Twagiramungu, is featured in this video and is here to help give you information about the library at G.S.Kiruli. All of this video was taken on Thursday, October 11, 2012 on location at G.S. Kiruli, in the Northern Province of Rwanda. The students were ambushed by the camera, and therefore are acting as normal as ever. This is what life looks like out here and I assure you I have not edited to warp the truth.
We had a great time putting this video together! This could not have been possible without the help of Jimmy or the assistance of Taylor Harveycutter (the new Peace Corps Rwanda trainee who will soon be replacing me here!).
Thanks for watching!
