Members of New York Women in Film & Television (NYWIFT) and SAG-AFTRA came together for a virtual hangout on February 17, 2021, which included an hour of speed networking. We opened the evening with a salon talk with SAG-AFTRA Executive Vice President and New York Local President Rebecca Damon, moderated by Community Engagement Director Katie Chambers. Rebecca provided important updates on the union's initiatives in response to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, including the SAG-AFTRA Return to Work agreement, and spoke about the union's soon-to-launch sexual harassment app, intimacy coordinators, her philosophy as an advocate for worker's rights, and more.
