"Motion, Emotion - Seven Days in Copenhagen" is a short documentary film that follows a group of over 70 university dance and music students as well as teachers from Iceland, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, the USA, and Belgium during a weeklong workshop held in the dance spaces of the Danish National School for the Performing Arts, Copenhagen, Denmark in March 2012. Led by dance artist-teacher / former member of the Merce Cunningham Company, Daniel Roberts and independent choreographer and member of Rosas Dance Company, Mark Lorimer the film captures the energy of the workshop which evolved around the collaborative relationship between Post-Modern dance and music.
The film was shot as a short documentary film by a group of international film/media students.
This film is dedicated to the memory of Johannes Johansson (1951 – 2012), Principal of the Royal College of Music, Stockholm, Sweden
