On 16 October 1912, the first public performance of Arnold Schönberg´s Pierrot Lunaire took place in the Choralion-Saal in Berlin. The Choralion Company was the subsidiary of the successful American Aeolian Company and was based at Bellevuestrasse 4, next to where the Sony-Center is today, close to Potsdamer Platz.

The Choralion Company produced pianolas, an innovative and popular automatic piano at that time, that had also drawn the attention of Stravinsky. He was also present at the premiere of Schönberg´s masterpiece in the concert hall of the piano factory.

Exactly one hundred years later, we are searching the unknown historical site for traces of it´s former glory: Tracking Pierrot...
