40hrs.ca is a conceptual rebrand and restructure of the current 40 Hours Program. It is intended to enrich involvement of high school students through improving current communication methods and introducing reward systems. 40hrs.ca focuses on matching students with volunteer opportunities within the student’s interest to ease the decision of future career choices.
40hrs.ca attempts to build brand experience by incorporating volunteering into students’ everyday life. Reward systems become key in motivating students to think towards their future careers. These rewards are in the form of monetary value (i.e. scholarships) and recognition (i.e. achievement certificates).
Following current technological trends, 40hrs.ca abandons the traditional methods of pen and paper in exchange for internet-related advancements such as QR code technology and database collection.
