This is the first mutant promo prototype single off my soon to be released album:
#459 The Magic Mile.
Much to my surprise i find myself in a very industrial suburb near Ipswich
The album has very much been influenced by the environment i now find myself in and how it feels being in it
Somewhat of a conceptual idea/feeling/experience is very much based on driving up the motorway into Brisbane at night, as it's more open and not as congested.
I drive past Real Bad Music on the way, it's almost unavoidable and I made the album after seeing a huge " For Sale" sign and being quite distraught afterwards and not being able to sleep at the time.
My brain became somewhat of a psychic temple and this portal on the outskirts of town was calling out to me...
Heed the call Brizz this album is the beginning of a musical adventure and a huge hat tip to Matt Earle,
keeping it real as he does in his own imitable way
A true artist and genuine person this part of the world is very fortunate to have.
His home has inspired me beyond comparison much like the house in Richmond, Melbourne inspired a famous underground cult film by Richard Lowenstein
Each city has it's places people feel drawn to
Cultural Headquarters come in all shapes and sizes
Rock along this Saturday
