HD Version. Remastered and Remixed.
A mixed-media non-fiction film that explores the homeless situation in Long Beach, California, intertwined with the director's own personal stints of homelessness. Shot over a period of nine months, using several types of video, 16mm, 8mm and still photography, Virus examines all that contribute to this issue: the homeless, the city officials and charity organizations. The director himself comes face to face with his past, as he looks back at his own two stints of homelessness.
Shot over the course of a year, the film is currently still being edited. A rough version screened at CSU Media Awards and won Best Doc and the Audience Award.
