In the first of the 5 talks, Dr. Srikanth Sola talks about the importance of consistency and purity when we are engaged in spiritual practices. He brings out Swami's explanation of the Inner Voice akin to a Mirror of Conscience. How the Mirror is prevented from reflecting the Divine Energy (light) in all its intensity and purity by 3 major players: Dirt accumulation, Shaking of the Mirror, and a Thick Cloth Cover. And all this is due to our own habits, actions, choices. Dr. Sola reiterates Swami's message, that we (each one of us) have been given the choice to do something about the 3 maladies which prevents the Mirror from functioning as designed.
