Short documentary about Los Angeles hip hop artists with JUICE (Justice United in Creative Energy) and their project in Uganda bringing workshops and music to AGYA, a youth organization in Kampala. Open Mike Eagle and Ras G, along with Daniel "Silencio" Rizik-Baer tell the story of this artist exchange project between themselves and emerging young Ugandan hip hop artists. Music bridges languages and cultures as the young musicians discover American and Ugandan independent hip hop, explore personal expression, and dance through power blackouts. Sponsored with a grant by the Los Angeles Cultural Affairs Department the artists spent 10 days working with local talent and recorded 6 new tracks to be released soon.
