When we are aware of our mind. If we do, two things will come out from there. First, we are not the mind. We are the witness of mind.
Second, awareness is different from mind. Mind is moving, jumping and noise but awareness is unmoving, here right now, always before you.
Master Sotaesan said that awareness is the state of mind that is bright, calm and tranquil, free from a tendency of discrimination and attachment.
When awareness is established in us, we become more peaceful, insightful, genuine. That's the simplest way to stop carrying mind.
