Using images, history and myths from the city in which it is performed, the show begins as a seminar delivered in a language made up of many, mixed and distorted together.
Gradually it combines these details with a poetic world inspired by Italo Calvino's Invisible Cities.
Using headphones and binaural recordings we enter a parallel world inside the palace of Xanadu where roles are assigned for everyone in the room: the lecturer turns into Marco Polo, the technician into his horse, and the audience into the great Kubla Khan, silently listening to the traveller's tales.
