We interviewed Bill Esterline in Bridgeton's City Hall, where he is shown seated in front of our Bicentennial quilt, lovingly and patriotically handcrafted in 1976 (See our interview with Billie Courtois for more on the quilt). Bill is a US Air Force veteran of the Vietnam war. Afterwards he worked for Ross Perot at his EDS consulting firm. In 1977 Bill moved with his family to Weskan Lane in Carrollton, and lived there for some time. Fortunately for us, Bill chose his next residence in Bridgeton also. He has served as a city councilman, and is currently the Director of the Pattonville Fire Protection District, and also serves as one of the Commissioners of Lambert Airport. Like many of our interviewees, Bill has some surprising stories to share with us in this interview.
