According to the groom, fate is not something that he has ever believed in however seeing Lisa & Chris together surrounded by those closest and dearest to them with family and friends both from Scotland and the States as well knowing their story of how they met, no one could deny the stars aligned in their favour.
On the 4th Aug 2012 our day started with an early drive up to perth. It was a wonderful drive through the sweeping country hills, wandering sun beams while enjoying the sweet smells of pine and blossom.
It seemed on today both venues were drenched in sunlight making the Texans who had made the trip over feel right at home in the romantic Scottish countryside.
The ceremony was held in the Glenalmond College chapel, the place of prayer for a proud establishment dedicated to the finest education. The marriage itself was charming with a perfect selection of readings and prayers made by close friends and it was an honour witnessing the service and seeing the joy in both families after the union.
The stately Fornought house and beautiful Scottish bagpipe music welcomed the guests to the reception upon which cocktails, wine & champagne were enjoyed by everyone. Tales were reminisced, tears were shed and glasses charged. As the night continued everyone danced majestically into the night to the songs of a frank sinatra tribute.
Lisa & Chris, it was an honour being part of your day. We had so much fun and wish you all the best for your lives together.
