A mini-doc about this year's 48 Hour Game Making Challenge, held in Brisbane at QUT's Creative Industries Precinct. Find out what happens when you take a whole heap of clever people and keep them chained to their computers for two whole days. This is the same event that Brendan Keogh wrote about in 2011, in an epic article for Ars Technica (arstechnica.com/gaming/2011/10/our-20000-word-48-hour-game-jam-series-now-available-as-an-e-book/).
This video was made for free, with no budget. If you like it and want to support similar mini-docs, please contribute to the Tip Jar, or hire Iain to make a mini-doc just for you. :)
Shot on a Canon 550D with Magic Lantern, a Tamron 28-75mm and Canon 50mm lenses, except for the Halfbrick introduction (thanks guys!) which they provided.
Good audio from a Zoom H1. Bad audio from a Zoom H1 too far from the source. Sorry about that.
Animation created in Motion. Edited in Final Cut Pro X.
Event organised by Truna and the terrific staff at Creative Industries Public Programs.
