Ipswich Fall

Shot Saturday during a short day trip to Ipswich and Rockport Massachusetts using the C300 with the new Canon EF 24-70mm F2.8 USM II Lens. The shots are entirely hand held without any rigs (with the exception of two long shots with 75-200 F2.8 that were shot on a tripod). Image stabilization in post that caused some of the blurriness and loss of detail (softness in many of the shots). We were just visiting for a couple of hours so all shots were rushed an unplanned and nothing was blocked and the C300 (being fully manual) proved a challenge for this kind of quick, run and gun style shooting. It was also heavier than desired for this kind of environment. Basically, I'm to blame for the blurriness and the shake for going handheld in the woods! :)

P.S. I don't know if it's from Vimeo compression but the exposure settings seem different and appear way darker than back on my editor. I blame the VERY VERY annoying feature of the C300 not having a waveform in the viewfinder and only having it available on the monitor (which I don't like to attach during hand held situations due to size and ergonomics).
