Fog Melbourne Executive Chef Jeremy Sutphin talks about his background and influences to his unique Southwest style of cooking.
The food at Fog is a combination of a number of dishes with sophisticated and simple influences from the New Mexico region and south of the border. An interesting assortment to tingle and tantalize the palate, you will see how Jeremy brings forth a passion from the heart for good cooking. An adventurous, colourful, interesting but humble persona is whats behind Jeremy as he heads up the culinary team at Fog all who have a distinct character of their own.
Fog Sommalier Luke Thorpe also matches a range of hand picked wines to suit various dishes from wines to special imported mexican beer brews.
Both Jeremy and Luke are the driving engines behind the food and wine for "The Dinner Club" held at Fog as a one off exclusive evening. The Dinner Club features six specially prepared courses by Jeremy and his team, while Luke has handpicked 5 very select wines and beverages to go with each course. The evening also features a motivational speaker: Andrew Morello who is a Sydney based entrepreneur, visionary, writer and the National Business Development Manager for Yellow Brick Road Wealth management. Andrew will we talking about and promoting his new book. The evening will also feature a charity Auction by Legends & Heroes Memorabilia. Then to top if off as the icing on the cake if Jeremy's Mex flan is not filling enough there is the Cebiche Carnivale Fashion Parade by Perth designer Hayley Kathryn. Cebiche is a fine garment Brazilian Swimwear label dedicated to making all women feel good about their bodies in and out of the water!
