I bumped into “Groene Koe” when walking into an amazing garden, next to the Center of Silence, where we would camp over for the night. It was on August 27th 2012, during the Sideways Walking Arts Festival (sideways2012.be). Before the festival and the 334 km of walking ahead, I had Yana over at my house in Brussels. She would walk roped up with someone, which made the her ant the other aware of each other’s lines of movement and perception. We were super enthusiast to start the adventure, so Yana & I agreed that it should continue and that after the festival we would find a van and go more “sideways”. I bought the van from a lovely family, they converted this Ford Transit from 1995 into a camper for a family of 4 and enjoyed many holidays with Groene Cow. Now, Green Cow grazes the roads and invites friends, artists, hitchhikers to come along and explore more of the world!
Green Cow drove me from Cluj-Napoca, Romania to Zagreb, Croatia. On the way up, Carlos accompanied us from Oradea to Budapest. We stayed overnight at Zoltan's apartment in the center and then Carlos continued his travel for Slovakia by train. Zoltan, Green Cow and I pursued our way to Zagreb. Forgot to buy a toll-vignet, so we smiled to the camera on the toll-ways and we wanted it all with Queen!
