Pointing-at glove Documentary

This documentary presents the development of the Pointing-at data glove. In addition, the documentary presents a reflective narrative of the artistic processes involved for the development of a series of performances in which the newly developed digital instrument has been used. The analysis following each performance is based around the key concepts of affordances, constraints, mapping strategies, control intimacy, local/field function and frames.

The work is a collaborative project (NAP60 - 2007/10) between the Tyndall National Institute in Cork and the Interaction Design Centre/ Digital Media & Arts Research Centre at the University of Limerick (Ireland)
