An episodic, audio-visual, psy-fi, Disaster Girl illustrates a surreal and uninhibited vision
of life surrounding a major catastrophe. The chapters emerge from the rubble and delve
into the psyche of Disaster Girl.
The performances are solo or collaborative, rehearsed or experimental, and have
been presented in clubs, galleries and festivals in Berlin, Prague, Tallinn, Riga,
Kaunas, Sydney, San Francisco, Odense, London and internationally via live stream.
They can be classified as VJ sets, AV sets, and as performance art.
In these fantastical technology driven spectacles I embody a combination of
software, hardware and space. Currently I am experimenting with motion
detection with dance and other more demanding physical activities, or flexible
surfaces with depth possibilities (such as sand and foam), to control the visuals.
On hand are other hacked controllers to allow audience interaction.
The audio album Digital Disaster was released 21.12.2012. Although as an audio
release, the tracks are all composed with music videos I shoot, perform in and edit,
