Visualized Data of the path I travelled on October 16th 2012 starting from 8:00am - 11:00pm.
Places visits include my apartment, architecture school, coffee shop, staples business depot, and the hair dressers.
This is the first visualization test conducted to understand the limitations of the GPS data gathering method using smart phones. I concluded that because of the innacuracy of the iPhone's triangulated GPS system (innacurate up to 5M with optimal connection) I would be able to examine how the sourced demographic utilizes the campus at a larger scale rather then at the building scale. The data was not precise enough.
Limited access to large data sets limited me to crowdsourcing a more immediate demographic within my faculty, while limits of the technology decided how this data could be read and utilized on a specific scale.
