This is the first gameplay video for my student project, Quark Storm, showing the game menu as well as the two levels found in the game.
Sadly, there's no music or sound effects in the game yet, and I didn't want to add some background music yet, since I still haven't decided how the game's soundscape is going to be like.
The footage was captured from a Mac, and had to be compressed quite a bit; as a result, there're quite a few artifacts during gameplay. Another issue I found was that the font used in-game doesn't display properly on Macs (pehaps not all of them, though), but works fine when the game is played on a PC, so I'll have to look into it.
The game can be played at julianimp.com.ar and will be updated as I add better graphics, more levels and additional menu settings (like anti-aliasing, particle emission and texture quality).
Special thanks to my friend Juan Miguel Tomala for playing the game through the recording.
