SoundBricks are small electronic instruments, built from open source hardware and software. I built this one for a friend, and hope to build more. Unique construction, sound, and reprogrammable too!
Powered by a 9-volt battery or DC wall wart. Output is mono and accepts standard 1/4" plug. I still need to add the opening for the USB port.. but for now I can open the box and reprogram it that way.
Based on an Arduino (Uno, Diecimilia, etc) and a modified version of the Auduino/Theremuino software. Uses an ultrasonic sensor for "theremin-like" operation. Volume control, 3 pots for expressive control, and 2 "missile-launch" switches for On/Off and Mode Control..
