2020. That was going to be the year.
The year you finally stuck to all those New Year’s resolutions.
Run our first marathon. Or at least 5K.
We were ready to write that five-year plan.
And about to book that holiday we’d been dreaming about all winter.
But just as we were about to press Go on 2020…the world hit a monumental red light.
Society as we knew it seemingly stopped.
[Sound of news reports about the COVID-19 pandemic]
And humanity found itself staring into the eyes of its biggest challenge yet.
But as people, we adapt.
And at Liberty Global, we rise to challenges. It’s fundamental to who we are.
We know for every red light that stops us in our tracks, it won’t be long before we make it shine green again.
Across the Liberty family, we looked out for one another. And although we were physically distant, we grew closer together than ever before.
We stretched beyond our comfort zones, never losing our focus.
When the world stopped, we were resilient, and we kept going. For our customers, who relied on us more than ever to keep them connected.
We trusted in our shared goal to create a better tomorrow.
We maintained existing connections and forged new ones.
We committed and delivered, believing in our ability to create Tomorrow’s Connections Today.
And, while we did all of this, we laughed, we created and we clapped.
We may not know exactly what the future holds, but we’re in this together.
In the face of adversity, we will always adapt, innovate and grow.
We’re proud to be part of something special.
We’re transforming the lives of our customers and our communities, forging new connections and making a truly positive impact on society with passion and purpose.
We are Liberty Global.
