00:00:00 Welcoming Remarks
00:00:30 Julie Demo’s creating a bag from a template based on Jin’s info. found here: underacherrytree.blogspot.com/2010/10/halloween-treat-bags.html using an original template found at: stampington.com/temptingTemplates/index.html (Please Note: I could no longer find the template at this site; Julie noted she had problems and found it at this address but I get an error message: stampington.com/temptingTemplates/pdfs/SAM043.pdf). It is NOT a vector PDF file and therefore cannot be “imported”). Julie demonstrates how to do a “screen capture” of the template, then using pixel trace to bring the image into MTC and clean it up.
See also the 10/30/12 Webinar at the 01:16:30 timestamp where Julie gives a demonstration on how to create this bag using basic shapes in MTC.
(For those technically challenged or in a hurry, Jin also shares her MTC file that she created via a link on her blog post listed above. Note: It is free but requires a 4shared account to download.)
00:11:20 Julie continues Demonstration on creating the tag from Jin’s post above by using the Lettering Delight’s Dingbat Font “DB Halloween Little Notes”. Found here: letteringdelights.com/font:db_halloween_little_notes-8301.html. She demonstrates importing the image from LD and then shows how to do similar creation by using basic shapes and fonts from within MTC its self.

forum.make-the-cut.com/discussion/22310/first-try-at-papercraft-art (the person who made this says it has 82 cuts). Julie gives a quick demo to explain the “basic concept” of the “open mouth” image using shadows and inset shadows)
01:12:18 Follow-up by Bryan on the question and demo on creating a Stencil from a Font
01:15:15 General Discussion on various things covered in first hour and 15 minutes of Webinar
01:17:45 Review/Follow-up discussion from 10/16/12 Webinar on working with round Christmas ornaments. Please also see that Webinar found here: vimeo.com/51815745 at approximately the 00:31:00 timestamp.
01:19:19 Julie explains the “project notes” found in a MTC file and embedding files in it. She explains, what it is, where to find it, and how to use it.
01:29:20 Downloading Files shared on the MTC Forum. Bryan explains the best way to do so. (Note: he recommends always doing a “save” or “save as” first to your computer rather than “opening” the file and then saving to your computer.)
