In November 2020, we traveled to Barmer, Rajasthan, a rural location on the far northwest border of India, to ensure COVID-19 safety and awareness through a door-to-door awareness campaign. Now, we are back safely delivering on our original mission: to bring eyeglasses to this community of weavers and artisans.
Travel with us as we visit the remote villages and see the incredible detail of the artisans’ work. We will get an immediate sense of just how critical their eyesight is to their productivity and livelihoods. We will also meet Dai Devi, a traditional weaver, as she goes through the COVID-safe vision screening process and gets a pair of eyeglasses for the first time.
