Ruth Beale's 'Sing Me a Song with Social Significance' performed on the launch night as part of the exhibition "On the desperate and long-neglected need for small events" at Lanchester Gallery Projects on 1 November 2012. The original song was written for the 1930s musical revue 'Pins and Needles' and was the first-and-only trade union Broadway hit. This version of the song was arranged by Malcolm Benzie and performed by a specially assembled choir of Coventry University students.
