Go On UK is a new charity campaign bringing together big corporates in an effort to connect anyone who wants to regardless of their circumstances. Martha Lane Fox, the co-founder of dot com pioneer Lastminute.com recruited by the government to help poorer people access tech more easily, is Go On UK’s chair. As the charity launches an ambitious national plan, Lane Fox talked to Julian Blake about the barriers to online access, the power of philanthropy, the mistakes she’s made – and the tech business interests she’s pursuing right now.
