May and Inigo's film tells the story of the Egyptian Revolution through the eyes of three young Egyptians from radically different backgrounds - each with different hopes for the future.

Ahmed Hassan wants to find work; socialist activist Gigi Ibrahim wants respect and freedom for all; Tahir Yasin wants an Islamic state. The film follows them from the early days of hope for change through the bloody aftermath of Mubarak’s overthrow and rise of Islamists as elections loom. We see all three swept up in a series of conflicts as the battle over the future of Egypt turns ugly, in mosques, markets and homes, with people veering between hope, despair and bitter disappointment.
