State of the Art recording and rehearsal space in WestBeth utterly destroyed by Hurricane Sandy's surge. Studio had been frequented by a who's who of the NY and international jazz world. This video was made a week after the storm, as no one was allowed into the building due to the hazardous mix of sewage, heating oil and salt water that
flooded the basement of the building up to the ceiling. It took several days to pump the liquid out, and as of the time of this shooting, there was only auxiliary lighting in the hallways, and no electricity otherwise. The basement of WestBeth remains under quarantine as of this date. All amplifiers, microphones, computers, recording equipment were lost. All instruments (with the exception of one guitar) were lost, including the grand piano seen toward the end of the video
