The Hypercube is a fully interactive audio-visual instrument. It allows the performer to generate realtime audiovisual content based on their body movements while listening and dancing to music.
With the Hypercube project we would like to examine the process of impact between music and visuals through the performer as connection point. For this project we developed a 3D tracking software, as well as the generative visual algorithms using vvvv, for music we are using ableton live - in realtime.
This prototype was created during schmiede.ca by Antony Raijekov and Emanuel Andel in cooperation with Andreas 'muk' Haider und Matthias Husinsky.
