I wrote, directed and filmed this short documentary about an pilot adaptation project the Secretariat of the Pacific Community (SPC) was involved in on Lifuka Island Tonga. Lifuka is in a geologically volatile region of the Pacific and an earthquake in 2006 caused the Western side of the island to subside by 23 centimeters. The project is using this subsidence to come up with an adaptation strategy for the island and other islands facing climate change induced sea-level rise.
The video was edited by the SPC's Regional Media Center. They own the distribution rights.
