This is a fan video I made for Dave Monks' latest single 'Love'. Totally non-official. Just an arty ramble along with me. The song's been stuck in my head since I first heard it, and inspired me to make this. It's been a while since I've been able to go to any gigs, but while I was making this, I remembered this one time when I was coming back from a show, and had to get off the train due to a fault on the line. Normally I'd be super annoyed, but I was on a high from this amazing gig. Managed to find a bus that was going vaguely in the direction of home on a route I hadn't taken before. After about 20 minutes, everyone else had got off the bus and it was just the driver, and me alone in the back of the bus, trundling through the suburbs at 1am. Bit awkward. Eventually I went up to the front to see how far away my stop was and he said the route didn't go that way after midnight and the nearest he could bring me was a 20 minute walk from home. In the rain. But I didn't care, because that gig, man. Probably got home at 2am. Still grinning. And I would do it all again. The lengths we go for the things we love. :)
