This is my second short video for my 'Montage' soulful video course with Vivienne McMaster. I went out and shot a bunch of short clips, borrowed some of my older ones, wrote some words and created this video. The words and editing all came together rather quickly. The 'story' has much to do with my interest (obsession?) in the relationships with memory, the past and the present. All the video was shot using a Nikon P510 digital camera and a Lumix TZ-10 (before it was stolen). Title is derived from Philip Larkin's poem 'Arundel Tomb', which I had the pleasure of visiting in the summer of 2012. I've always loved this poem as well as the music and was glad to create an opportunity where I could use both. The rest of the text is mine and any allusion to other poems is intentional. Hope you enjoy it.
