CFS in partnership with audio specialist Sennheiser have launched Sennheiser’s “Live Your Dream” campaign, designed to motivate and assist people with a passion for flying to overcome the barriers and begin flight training. As a first step towards becoming a pilot and living their dream, aspiring aviators can participate in a competition to win a flight training scholarships. “Live Your Dream” consists of several components, one of them being a Flight Training Scholarship Competition in which participants are encouraged to describe the origin of their passion for flight, and why they want to become a pilot. The most compelling entries have a chance of winning a scholarship valued at a minimum of £1,000.
To participate in the contest, flight enthusiasts enrolled at Cranfield Flying School can register on sennheiser-liveyourdream.com and post a written story, or upload a video expressing their passion for flying on YouTube. The most exciting and creative entries can be awarded one of x 2 scholarships carried out by CFS for 2013.
Every student that CFS educates has the potential to become a heavy jet pilot. The specialty is in the training of those wishing to obtain their Commercial Pilots Licence, Instrument Rating, Multi-Engine Rating, and Flight Instructor through to Private Pilot’s Licence and beyond. The emphasis is on talent building and giving students the professional pilot training needed to become a commercial airline pilot. All completed at the state-of-the-art Flight Training Centre at Cranfield Airport.

Cranfield Airport is a busy airport situated in class G airspace, providing excellent facilities for training including VOR, NDB, ILS and VDF let-down procedures. Full Air Traffic Control (Aerodrome and Approach Control) is provided seven days a week, during Airport operating hours.
CFS has been recognised for many years as one of the leading flight training schools in the UK for Flight Instructor course. Leading the Instructor teams are Piers Smerdon and Donald Putnam who are of the highest caliber of instructors based at Cranfield.
