Abraham Lincoln: War Veteran Projection is a public art video installation by Artist Krzysztof Wodiczko, known for his large-scale projections art interventions. Wodiczko animated the lifeless commemorative statue of Abraham Lincoln through projections of war veterans and their testimonies of war. On view in Union Square Park from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. every evening from November 8 through December 9 2012 .
The 23 minute projected video consisted of 14 veterans from Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan sharing their memories and experience as their images were projected on the Abraham Lincoln bronze sculpture in Union Square Park, New York City.
