Remnant Devoted unto the Lord | show ID# wf-111312-remnant-lord
The Lord has always had a remnant, they were his, a “devoted ” one unto the Lord! Once devoted, it is always so! Once taken back, it brings a curse! When anything was "devoted" unto the LORD in the Torah, whatever it was; whether of man or beast; or even his fields; it was a "Devoted thing". The Word here is 'cherem', meaning something cut off, or shut up. It was known as "banning", falling under the "vow of Banning." This meant if you "Devoted a thing" to the LORD, it was banned from any other use.
In our Remnant study tonight, we begin here to understand the true biblical separation and meaning of a "Devoted thing", something that is "sanctified" in the context of the Torah. We find the true biblical boundaries and meaning in this study of what it truly means to be the "Remnant". As such, we are a "devoted thing" unto the Lord. We are not our own, we are bought with a price. The same concept here is the same concept found in the 'Vow of Banning.'
In addition we cover other aspects of this 'Vow of Banning' including Israel being that chosen vessel to carry out the judgment of the Lord. As believers we bring forth our testimony, reminding people whom to call upon. Where redemption is found and that the world is under condemnation and judgment. All have sinned, this is the law and whoever sins; that soul must die. That is judgment and when our Lord Came, he brought forth this judgment and said "he was the way the truth and the life, no man comes to the Father but by him." This is truth and also brings judgment and light into the open. As remnant and those Devoted to the Lord, we are responsible for bringing both the judgment for the sins of men into the light and also bring forth the Lord's work on the cross of Calvary as the solution for their sins. This is redemption, to be redeemed from sins, slavery, and bondage. This redemption can only be found in Jesus Christ; Yeshua Ha Massiach. It is to our God and Father and our Lord Jesus Christ that we are a "Devoted thing" a "Devoted remnant" dedicated to bringing forth these truths so people can be set free. As in the "vow of banning", we should be doing nothing else; as we are set aside for our Master's use. Don't miss this study!

1 For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.
2 But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.
3 And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts.
