Curated by Happy Collaborationists in conjunction with Industry of the Ordinary and the Chicago Cultural Center, "Square Dance" is a choreographed dance between two forklifts, which was staged on Daley Plaza in downtown Chicago on November 2nd, 2012. In "Square Dance," the two forklifts "perform" both in the sense of "work" - moving pallets - and "dance" - spinning, pivoting, lifting - and offer up a camouflaged spectacle hidden within the day-to-day labor of the City and in the shadow of its most prominent public artwork, "The Picasso."
