When the Coroniavirus reportage began last March I found myself watching the news round the clock. I began to experience severe anxiety and panic attacks became the new normal. I could not sleep, during a restless episode in the dark of the early morning I set up a small studio in my living room. Each day at 3:00am I took self portraits, it was the only thing which calmed my anxiety. As the work progressed I began to see references to Greek Mythology. This added an additional personal layer having lived in Greece. The myths never preceded the images, the work was guided by my emotions, words and poetry from a daily journal.
