SALI is a partnership among libraries, justice stakeholders, and community organizations, working to increase legal information access within Saskatchewan. Despite being a critical component in improving access to justice, it is often difficult for members of the public to find and access legal information. We want to help change that.
Since 2016, SALI has engaged with Saskatchewan’s public libraries to enhance public access to legal information and resources. Saskatchewan’s libraries and their staff are ideally positioned to help the public identify and locate credible legal information.
This action-oriented session will introduce you to SALI and its training resources for information providers. We want to engage with you to solicit ideas and future projects for SALI. Your thoughts and feedback will help us shape additional conference sessions, to take place virtually, throughout the remainder of 2021.
