I hope you'll enjoy these images of flight, fun, sun, rain, clouds, friends and the gorgeous Mediterranean coast from my paragliding trip to Turkey, in October 2012, for the 13th annual Ölüdeniz Air Games.
All responsibility for crappy loops, SATs, wingovers, one pseudo-Heli, and assorted takeoffs and landings is mine. Mea culpa. My one abortive takeoff, however, can be blamed on Cody Mittanck. Utterly. His fault. Bastard!
I also spent a handful of days in Istanbul on the way to Ölüdeniz and back. From that part of my trip, I would like to thank my host Serkan Gürsoy for being such an awesome guide, and for taking time to show me sides of the city that very few tourists have an opportunity to see. If you're ever heading towards Istanbul, I highly recommend booking a room with Serkan via Airbnb.com. See his listing here:
And that's about it for now. I'll see you out on the road!
