Time lapse photography project with 'Rilla', a Columbus graffiti artist. The seven by 30 foot mural took a little over 2 hours to paint inside an abandoned building. The time lapse boils the creation of his artwork down to just under 3 minutes.
Only 9 partial cans of paint (8 different colors) where used in the creation of the piece. Rill says that the largest misconception of his (and other graffiti artists) art is that it is gang related. While he admits that some crude taggings may be the marking of territories, large art pieces such as this are just that, art.
