Wafa Ben Hassine is a writer, human rights advocate, and law student who is interested developing Tunisian society on the pillars of sustainability and social justice. Her work involves redefining the purpose of social media: what was used a tool of revolt can now be used to create, build, and sustain.
The program she's currently working on will connect people through digital collaboration technologies and academic exchange. She's been working hard to fight corruption and create a govornment based on issues of justice in service of their constituants. Wafa believes that the best way to do that is by encouraging and supporting youths studying the law. In a country where education is already weak, knowledge on issues of rights and law is weak. Her work builds bridges between minds and engenders international exchange. This is a grassroots effort to educate and inspire the future political citizens of Tunis.
